About This Project
Summary
Many 50+ adults don’t have doctors who will spend time answering questions in detail, so AARP created a weekly advice column with Adam B. Rosenbluth, M.D., an internist and cardiologist, to give in-depth answers to common health and medical questions. AARP selected a doctor who would not only educate readers, but do so in a friendly and conversational manner. To supplement Dr. Adam’s information, columns include videos and links to AARP content for readers who want to dig deeper into the topic.
Goals & Objectives
Each column tackles a common health concern with clear, expert-backed guidance tailored to the needs of Americans 50+. The advice from a family doctor can help people make informed health decisions and get a clear grasp of issues that can be confusing or misunderstood.
Results & Impact
The column has 1.16M+ unique visitors and 2.37M+ page views, and regularly ranks in AARP’s top 10 articles. AARP Bulletin (print) features the column, expanding reach to 40M AARP members. Readers questions often include intimate medical details showing a high level of trust in Dr. Adam.
