About This Project
Summary
For Mental Health Awareness Month in May 2025, Ad Council launched a local PSA campaign with the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and sports teams in Georgia for a unified message to change the conversation about mental health locally in the state. Athletes such as Bijan Robinson, Brad Guzan, and Jordin Canada joined to encourage viewers to normalize mental health and prioritize positive daily habits. PSAs built on the platform of the national Love, Your Mind campaign with lead partner HMHF.
Goals & Objectives
Recent data shows that only 1 in 4 adults in Georgia feel confident about knowing the steps to care for their mental health. The campaign goal is to normalize mental health conversations and connect people with vetted information and education through a local Georgia webpage with resources.
Results & Impact
All media is donated within Georgia, with the campaign already receiving $900K of media value in early months (including 14K TV PSA airings). Web traffic has already surpassed 40K visits locally within Georgia (2X the national benchmark). Local surveys within Georgia will measure long term impact.
