About This Project

Summary

AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP's (ATC) accelerator offers a unique 8-week program for startups who want to help make aging easier for everyone. Selected through pitch events nationwide, top startups join the accelerator program where we jointly design and execute a plan that supports their unique needs. Upon graduation, startups join the ATC ecosystem for knowledge-sharing, networking and potential investments aiming to enhance their products and services for consumers aged 50-plus.

Goals & Objectives

ATC's accelerator program brings products and services for people 50-plus into the marketplace by helping startups tackle challenges and pursue growth opportunities. AARP supports startups with research, consumer feedback, growth marketing, and UI/UX consultation, helping them thrive in the market.

Results & Impact

Since inception in 2021, the accelerator has engaged 160 startups, with 71 founded by women and 93 by underrepresented groups, including women.
