Summary
Tom Fishman is the CEO of Builders, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization equipping citizens globally to overcome toxic polarization and solve our toughest problems. Under his innovative and entrepreneurial leadership, Tom has catapulted the movement into the global spotlight by challenging polarizing narratives and extremist thinking in media and politics, and empowering the majority of people tired of how divided we are with the tools to chart a more productive path forward.

Tom aims to overcome the forces seeking to divide us by equipping Builders worldwide with the tools to think critically, effectively collaborate across lines of difference and expand their hearts and minds with curiosity, compassion, courage and creativity.

In two years, Builders has garnered 3.3M followers, partnerships with 260+ leaders including Mark Cuban, Katie Couric, Daniel Lubetzky, Karl Rove, José Andrés, will.i.am., Lonnie Ali, hundreds of millions of video views on social media, 100,000 newsletter subscribers, and 40 national news stories.
