About This Project
Summary
“Path of Liberty: That Which Unites US” is a six-acre immersive installation in Manhattan by C&G Partners and filmmaker Daniella Vale, commissioned by the Soloviev Foundation. Created from portraits and voices gathered across the country, it transforms an urban landscape into a nighttime immersive installation of monumental projection and sound. Visitors encounter individual stories of liberty and democracy, inviting reflection on their evolving meaning ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Goals & Objectives
To affirm democracy as a collective, ongoing process by bringing personal stories into public space—encouraging participation, reflection, and dialogue at a moment of national commemoration, and honoring the complexity of liberty and identity in the U.S. today.
Results & Impact
Visitors contribute their voices to an evolving digital tapestry—adding to a collective portrait. The installation constructs a temporary civic space for reflection and participation, commemorating the 250th with complexity, intimacy, and shared purpose.
