About This Project

Summary

An Emmy-nominated video series that teaches kids ages 3–5 how to manage emotions, build friendships, and develop coping skills. Created by educators and clinicians, the free series features animated hedgehog characters and is available in English and Spanish. Used in homes and classrooms nationwide.

Goals & Objectives

To equip caregivers and educators with easy-to-use, research-based tools that help preschoolers build emotion regulation, communication, and coping skills—laying the foundation for lifelong mental health.

Results & Impact

Over 30M impressions & 2.5M completed video views. Distributed to, and used by, all 23,000+ pre-K educators in Ohio. Used in homes, schools, and early childhood centers across all 50 states. Praised for clarity, accessibility, and cultural relevance. LPV: Meta 60K. TikTok: 46% (2x benchmark)
