Community Engagement | Bringing Financial Education to a local Dallas community

About This Project

Summary

Financial education is a critical building block for owning your financial journey, yet it's often missing in schools, especially in lower-income populations. To address this, Chime has committed to bringing financial education to 10M people by 2027. As part of this effort, we partnered with For Oak Cliff in Dallas to engage students through a financial fireside chat with local celebrities, a business case study, and access to ongoing digital financial education.

Results & Impact

During Chime’s Oak Cliff Senior Day, we: - Engaged over 200 students - Gave out 200+ backpacks of school supplies - Awarded $600 in prize money - Provided ongoing financial education to 2000+ people - Built trust with our community - Deepened our partnership with For Oak Cliff
