About This Project
Summary
In the face of widespread disillusionment ahead of the 2024 elections, When We All Vote launched the Culture of Democracy Tour to engage young, Black, and Brown voters directly through cultural experiences that matter most to them. At concerts, sporting events, and festivals, the tour cut through voter apathy by leveraging grassroots activations and star power, culminating in a rally led by Michelle Obama that transformed voter engagement into a movement grounded in culture.
Goals & Objectives
Our goal was to embed voter engagement into cultural spaces, reaching young, Black, and Brown voters through music, sports, and community. We aimed to make voting feel personal, urgent, and accessible, driving voter registration, education, and turnout ahead of the 2024 election.
Results & Impact
The Culture of Democracy Tour successfully engaged young, Black, and Brown voters to shift attitudes and drive action. The campaign engaged more than 700,000 people in person, reached 66 million more through social media, generated 2,000+ press hits, and drove 300,000+ voter registration actions.
