About This Project
Summary
Carey and Christine came to us with a powerful story: they had spent 20 years fighting to end the multi-billion dollar greyhound racing industry, and WON. They’d already written the memoir, but that wasn’t going to land a TEDx talk. We helped them frame the message around three hard-earned truths about how real change happens, and condense a two-decade story into a 14-minute talk without losing heart or power, transforming a personal victory into a blueprint for activists worldwide.
Goals & Objectives
Transform a personal 20-year activist story into a TEDx talk with global resonance. The objective: deliver a talk that could spread, inspire real-world action, and prove that politics can still be a force for good, and it's still possible to change the world.
Results & Impact
Their TEDx talk has over 1 million views, among the Top 50 new TEDx talks of 2024 (of over 30,000 new talks). We received the 2025 Cicero Award for Social Justice (the Emmy's of speechwriting) for the script, judged by a panel of some of the world's top speechwriters. It spread, and continues to.
