Summary

The inaugural DBS Foundation Impact Beyond Summit, held on 11Nov24 focused on turning the challenges of Asia's ageing populations into opportunities, bringing together business leaders, experts & social sector reps. Key themes incl. shifting the perception of ageing, emphasising the importance of “living spans” & promoting proactive preparation for an ageing society. The Summit highlighted the need for collective responsibility to create a future where all generations are valued & empowered.

Goals & Objectives

- Highlight issues Asia’s ageing societies face & need for collaboration to tackle them so everyone can age w/ purpose, dignity &joy - Redefine narrative and change mindsets on ageing - Catalyse social impact by rallying various stakeholders to spark ideas/long-term solutions for ageing societies

Results & Impact

Over 300 business leaders, longevity experts & social sector representatives joined us at this exclusive event and heard from luminaries like Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, ex DBS CEO Piyush Gupta, Dan Buettner of Blue Zones fame and other leading voices.
