Summary

GREEN TIDE RISING is an 8 episode audio & video series that spotlights Latin America’s Green Wave movement and how it’s shaping some of the most progressive abortion policies in the world. Through the eyes of feminist lawyer and reproductive rights advocate Ximena Casas Isaza, we meet the people who have turned the fight for reproductive justice in Latin America and the Caribbean into a powerful, modern feminist movement who teach us their strategies and playbook for success.

Goals & Objectives

GTR flips the narrative, amplifying a movement from the Global South as the leaders on reproductive freedom. We set out to show U.S. audiences what is at stake if we don't take a new approach to securing reproductive rights under a hostile government and what we can learn from Latin America.

Results & Impact

GTR has 1500 downloads, 1300 Youtube Streams, 74,000+ views on Instagram, 22,000 views on TikTok, and 11,000 views on X. We wanted to reach young speaking audiences and we achieved this. The majority of our engagement came from our target audience, who voted in favor of abortion in the election.
