Fanatics is the official sports partner of Make-A-Wish, supporting all sports-related wishes for kids with critical illnesses. Through its 900+ partnerships and 5,000+ athletes, Fanatics and the Fanatics Foundation™ create unforgettable experiences that include athlete meet-and-greets, premium hospitality during games and special events, team gear, and more. Backed by a $10M commitment, Fanatics uses the power of sports to bring strength, hope, and healing to wish kids nationwide.

Goals & Objectives

This first-of-its-kind partnership aims to close the gap in the number of sports-related wishes waiting to be granted, delivering them faster and at a higher level. Through storytelling and collaboration, Fanatics helps grow awareness for Make-A-Wish while building community for wish families.

Results & Impact

In under two years, Fanatics has helped grant 700+ sports-related wishes. In the first year alone, storytelling efforts drove 2.3K social posts, 42K engagements, 142M impressions, and 300 stories or 1.4B media impressions—amplifying joy for wish kids while expanding awareness and impact worldwide.
