About This Project
Summary
Mid-career and older workers (45+) face growing age bias in AI adoption. A global study by Generation, with grant support from Google.org and The SCAN Foundation, found that candidates under 35 are three times more likely to be hired for AI roles than those over 60—despite older professionals often demonstrating strong AI capabilities. The findings highlight the need to address systemic age discrimination in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
