About This Project
Summary
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we launched a music video Doodle celebrating Salsa, a vibrant genre, born from the Latino community, that has achieved global popularity. Developed with director Jorge R. Canedo E., expert Sergio George, and guest artists, the Doodle captures the unique blend of music, cultures, and generations that defines Salsa, engaging millions in a joyful, cultural celebration.
Goals & Objectives
Celebrate the vibrant art of Salsa music and its global impact, honoring its cultural origins in the Latino community and encouraging users to explore its rich history.
Results & Impact
The Doodle was received with overwhelmingly positive social sentiment (28% pos., +16ppts v benchmark). It drove 353K engagements (+225x YoY), exceeding all social benchmarks. The music video is now the 6th most viewed and engaged Doodle-related video of all time on the GoogleDoodles YouTube channel.
