About This Project

Summary

Young but Powerful. This is the motto of a youth led service club that includes over 70 students ages 5-11. These youth meet twice per month to learn about local and global non-profits then complete a hands-on project to help that group. In the process, youth develop leadership and academic skills while using their time and talents to help others in need.

Goals & Objectives

1. Provide opportunities for students to learn about local and global needs and to creatively help organizations that are addressing these needs. 2. Provide leadership opportunities and resources to underserved demographics who might not otherwise get opportunities. 3. Inspire & Empower!

Results & Impact

In 8 months, 16 non-profits received thousands of needed items from our projects, we completed over 1,300 hours of volunteer time AND led a city-wide day of service, and over 10,000 people were positively impacted by our linguistically, socioeconomically & racially diverse elementary youth. WOW!
