Season 4 of Nice Genes! was designed to demonstrate how genomics is solving problems and contributing to advances that make an impact on peoples’ lives. From everyday beauty products to mysterious wildlife diseases, episodes explore how genomics can reveal insights about the unseen scientific forces constantly at work below the surface. We delve into topics impacting our health, environment, and evolution, revealing the interconnectedness between genomics and our daily lives.
Goals & Objectives
The goal of Nice Genes! Season 4 is to provide engaging human centered stories and educational content that inspires “science aware” and “science curious” listeners to deepen their engagement with genomics, encouraging them to move toward becoming more actively engaged with science in their lives.
Results & Impact
Season 4 achieved an 89% average consumption rate on Apple Podcasts, a 75% increase in followers across Apple and Spotify, peaked at #9 in the Apple Podcasts ?Canada ? Science category, and was featured on Apple Podcasts's "New and Noteworthy" category for 8+ weeks!
