Summary

Glitched States is a global mental health art movement rebranding “mental illness” as human uniqueness. Using AI and live interviews, we create emotionally intelligent glitch portraits paired with therapeutic narratives, reframing conditions like anxiety and OCD as superpowers. The strategy blends art, advocacy, and AI innovation to shift public perception and spark inclusion in mental health dialogue.

Goals & Objectives

To challenge stigma in mental health, reframe emotional intensity as strength, and create culturally resonant portraits that invite conversation. The objective: merge AI art with human stories to foster belonging, awareness, and empowerment in the mental health community.

Results & Impact

Partnered with THE REAL men’s mental health foundation to sell custom portraits raising funds for mental health. Launched Glitch Badge Maker GPT, enabling all to reflect on their “glitch,” gain new language, and foster understanding where stigma once stood.
