About This Project
Summary
Recent years have seen unprecedented attacks on US women’s civil and human rights. The League of Women Voters launched our Women’s Inequality Day campaign to raise awareness and engage the public around: 1. The passage of pro-voter legislation empowering women 2. The restoration of reproductive rights, and 3. The certification of the Equal Rights Amendment in the Constitution. LWV used digital marketing to promote these demands in partnership with a diverse collective of women leaders.
Goals & Objectives
We aimed to raise awareness across digital media by creating informational videos from LWV and partners. We then empowered our audience to take action by signing a petition asking Congress to meet the campaign’s demands.
Results & Impact
LWV and 24 partners, including leaders from Planned Parenthood and the YWCA, reached half a million users across social media. 5.1k people signed our petition.
