Summary
LONG SHADOW: BREAKING THE INTERNET retraces 30 years of web history to answer the bewildering question many ask when they go online today: “How did we get here?” Telling the story of mankind’s greatest invention, the limited series podcast chronicles innovations, revolutions, cyber attacks, and meltdowns, to explain how a tool with the power to fuel democracy, became a weapon aimed at the very heart of it.

Across seven episodes, LONG SHADOW: BREAKING THE INTERNET explains how the web has slowly but clearly changed American life in the 21st century. From the heights of internet virality to the depths of social media's depravity, the podcast outlines the biggest crisis facing society today.
Results & Impact
The response to the show has been fantastic. With podcast app placement from Apple, NPR, and Amazon, among others, the show reached more than a half million listeners withinin two months of launching. A robust social campaign amplified the podcast, and media across the political spectrum covered it.
