About This Project

Summary

To host a 2nd summer camp teaching underprivleged youth and the next generation the crafts of filmmaking. Since the local film incentives were extended this will allow us to fill the jobs of tomorrow with locals.

Goals & Objectives

Host 10 kids. Get industry professionals involved. Get the best camera equipment. Teach post production. How to upload the film to youtube, add it to IMDB and submit it on filmfreeway.

Results & Impact

We increased over 5 times from 3 students our first camp to 16 students this camp. Keslow Camera and Panavision New Orleans, among others provided free gear to the students. We had DGA assistant director and IATSE crew members shadowing the students. We had a fire marshall, pyrotechnics and horses
