Founded by Maria Shriver, The Sunday Paper is a digital newsmagazine produced by an all-women team of journalists seeking to publish insightful, hopeful, and meaningful original content that rises Above the Noise and Moves Humanity Forward. Our nomination centers on our Women’s Health coverage—one of our primary content pillars—which empowers our audience with essential information and uplifts the voices of the country’s top experts within this critically underresearched and underfunded space.

Goals & Objectives

Though women develop many diseases at a higher rate than men, most American medical studies focus on men. We believe women deserve better—better answers, better innovation, better healthcare—and we believe in our journalistic responsibility to help every woman become the CEO of their own health.

Results & Impact

We reach an average of 2.5M people each week, and Women’s Health content is a consistent favorite among our audience. Our Women’s Health Guides—full of our original articles and video interviews—have brought in 168K+ new subscribers alone and further our mission of empowering women around the world.
