About This Project
Summary
For Mental Health Awareness Month, MHC launched #CareToAsk, a campaign to connect people through conversation. We posted one thoughtful question on social media every day in May, challenging people to care to ask, answer & share the questions with loved ones. We also partnered with social media creators and took to the streets of NYC, asking our questions to strangers IRL. Each day reminded us that deeper connections start with asking deeper questions. When we #CareToAsk, we all feel less alon
Goals & Objectives
The world is facing a loneliness epidemic that affects over 60% of young adults today. Often, we feel stuck in small talk. That’s why MHC set out to spark stronger connections between people. When we ask deeper questions, we get to know one another better, and we all feel less alone.
Results & Impact
We generated over 31K organic engagements on our #CareToAsk social media posts, with thousands of conversations in the comments and more happening offline. Reaching 421K people total, the #CareToAsk challenge delivered a tangible tool for starting meaningful mental health conversations.
