About This Project
Summary
To support LGBTQ+ youth, MTV and RuPaul’s Drag Race launched ‘Creativity as Self-Care,’ a program highlighting the connection between the arts & emotional health & drives young people to resources to help them leverage creativity for their wellbeing. In a special ‘Portrait of a Queen episode’, Marcia Marcia Marcia, shares their experience performing in Broadway’s Cabaret, their creative evolution as a performer, & tips on how young people can leverage creativity for their mental wellbeing.
Goals & Objectives
By connecting our audience with the expert curated resource site in collaboration with Marcia’s own inspirational story about their relationship with the performing arts, our objective was to inspire the RuPaul’s Drag Race audience to pursue creative activities to support their own well-being.
