About This Project

Summary

The One Brooklyn Fest Gospel Fest is produced by hospital staff in collaboration with community clergy. The event was created to celebrate the connection between physical and spiritual wellness though music.

Goals & Objectives

One Brooklyn Health partners with community clergy to provide health education, free screenings and address social determinants. This event is a celebration of those partnerships, providing a day of healing education via music, dance, and positive affirmations for community, patients and staff.

Results & Impact

Now in its’ 15th year, the event has touch over 3,000 community residents. In 2024, the OBH Gospel Choir was born, made up of OBH employees. The choir has become a staple in the organization, performing at staff events and touring the long term care and pedictrics units during the holidays.
