About This Project

Summary

Located in Fort Worth, Texas, The Ladder Alliance empowers domestic violence survivors and low-income women with tools for self-sufficient, successful lives. Their redesigned Success Store provides women with professional attire in exchange for their attendance in education programs, including computer skills and professional development, to open new pathways to success. The store has become an empowering destination where women can reclaim what they lost when leaving dangerous situations.

Goals & Objectives

Provide survivors of domestic violence and low-income women with the tools and education needed to lead self-sufficient, successful, and independent lives. Offer job skills training in a flexible, diverse, and equitable learning environment to help them secure employment in today’s tech job market

Results & Impact

Since re-opening in February 2024, the Ladder Alliance Success Store has served 200 women, distributing over 2,508 items. Each student receives an average of 12 items for attending classes. Increased attention has boosted both the quantity and quality of donations.
