About This Project
Summary
Heroes of Zero is an animated series that teaches 5-8-year-olds the skills they need for an increasingly online world. The series featured in a parent facing collaborative campaign across the Americas to educate families how to introduce their children to the online world. Best friends Nena and Ciro find a seemingly broken mobile device and magic stones that unlock a portal to a digital realm. Each stone corresponds to a superpower that they need to navigate the challenges of their online lives.
Goals & Objectives
Our goal for the First Device campaign was to bring together a coalition of NGOs across the Americas to engage parents and grandparents in teaching their young children the skills they need to be safe and responsible as they introduce them to the online world and their first device.
Results & Impact
Eight NGOs came together across North and Latin America to launch the campaign as part of Safer Internet Day. Our reach was magnified through partnerships with YouTube Kids and Snapchat. The series was translated into Spanish and Portuguese and received over 1.8 million views.
