About This Project

Summary

Project Kahaani was created by teenager Aaditya S. Dhar to impact SDGs of Reduced Inequalities and Decent Work and Economic Growth by empowering youth from low-income communities with written and verbal communication skills to enhance employability. Project Kahaani tackles the issue in an innovative, simple, yet effective way- by creating a scalable program designed by teens, conducted by teens, for teens, and expanding scale by collaborating with NGO partners through train the trainer modules.

Goals & Objectives

1. Make a meaningful difference in the local community by enhancign employability of at least 10,000 youth through training in communication skills. 2. Create a scalable, replicable model through partnerships, train the trainer modules 3. A youth-run movement- the founder started it when he was 15

Results & Impact

From its the slums of Powai, Mumbai, Project Kahaani has expanded through partnerships with 4 NGOs across 28 locations in 3 states, and expanded reach by training the trainers, impacting over 4000 youth. We are looking to expand impact to 50,000 by end of the year with state govt partnerships.
