About This Project
Summary
Participatory Art for Social Impact (PASI) is a values-driven framework that transforms art and culture into a catalyst for change. By placing the power of storytelling in the hands of communities, PASI goes beyond raising awareness, it fosters ownership, agency, and advocacy. Through co-created murals, sculptures, performances and digital media, communities become co-authors of their stories, reclaiming their spaces and narratives to lead action toward the futures they imagine and deserve.
Goals & Objectives
Developed for public use, the PASI framework equips communities, social impact practitioners, and artists with a structured, values-based framework that uses participatory art to shift narratives, foster agency, and drive inclusive, community-led change.
Results & Impact
Since its launch in May, PASI has sparked cross-sectoral dialogue bringing together artists, CSOs, and community enablers to reimagine creative advocacy. Practitioners have reported that PASI provides a structured approach to move from problem to solution with communities.
