Relativity and FRP Provide Cutting-Edge AI Tools to Justice for Change Participant Mnemonic

Summary

Relativity’s Justice for Change (J4C) program provides pro bono access to our e-discovery platform for organizations advancing social justice. In 2024, we added our most advanced generative AI tools to the program offering, enabling recipients like Mnemonic—a human rights charity that verifies and preserves digital records of international crimes and uses them to pursue accountability—to sort through and handle massive datasets, enhance multilingual review, and uncover patterns in evidence.

Goals & Objectives

We set out to empower pro bono teams with cutting-edge generative AI tools, helping them overcome resource limitations, accelerate workflows, streamline review, and increase access to justice for marginalized communities by leveraging the same advanced technology used by for-profit organizations.

Results & Impact

With help from J4C and partner FRP, Mnemonic used Relativity’s tools to tag data, detect repeated behaviour from key actors, and auto-transcribe content from French to English. With 30M+ records, indexing time dropped significantly, freeing their team to focus on analysis and accountability.
