About This Project

Summary

This powerful new video series exposes how U.S. immigration policy funnels people into a system of abuse, from for-profit ICE detention centers to El Salvador’s infamous CECOT prison. Through firsthand testimonies, legal analysis, and expert insight, the series reveals systemic violations of human rights and due process.

Goals & Objectives

By amplifying these stories across social media, we aim to document injustice, galvanize public outrage, and demand accountability to for those wrongly detained and disappeared under the guise of immigration enforcement.

Results & Impact

These series significantly outperformed our average engagement metrics and played a key role in driving a substantial increase in sign-ons to our letter-writing campaigns calling for the shutdown of for-profit detention centers in Louisiana, with one video reaching 1.2 million views.
