About This Project

Summary

SAGEYou is a digital initiative from SAGE, a non-profit with nearly 50 years of experience advocating for and supporting LGBTQ+ older people. SAGEYou brings that legacy online, offering a dynamic platform designed to foster connection, share trusted resources, and build community across generations and geography. This free community hub offers a wide range of educational materials and virtual events designed to support and empower older LGBTQ+ people.

Goals & Objectives

The goal of SAGEYou is to fight isolation and loneliness within the older LGBTQ+ community through diverse virtual events that can be accessed from anywhere. We also aim to empower LGBTQ+ elders through a library of educational resources that will help them age in safety and with dignity.

Results & Impact

SAGEYou impacts the lives of LGBTQ+ older adults across the country. We provide users with over 20 virtual programs a week, from lifelong learning to social gatherings and everything in between. Users also have access to a library of over 100 resources that educate and support LGBTQ+ aging needs.
