About This Project

Summary

• Everyone’s story of grief is different, but no one has to go it alone. This interactive offers ways families with young children might grieve together and look toward the future with hope. As they scroll, caregivers hear from experts and grieving families, who share what's helped them cope, thrive, and find joy. Practical articles, along with music, illustration, and animation invite viewers to take their time exploring strategies, reflecting on their own needs, and celebrating signs of growth

Goals & Objectives

• An evergreen resource, Growing as We Grieve offers caregivers a place to return for insight and encouragement as their grief--and that of their young children--changes over time. Multimedia assets explore common themes to support families no matter where they are on their grief journey.

Results & Impact

In partnership with NY Life Foundation, Growing as We Grieve has been introduced to a broad swath of parents and providers, including Eluna, Dougy Center, Experience Camps, Judi’s House, Good Grief, the American Psychological Association, Head Start (NCHBHS), who use it in their work with families.
