Summary

SIMA Academy empowers educators to nurture the global leaders of tomorrow via the medium today’s youth is most engaged with: short film and video. Our educational streaming platform inspires critical thinking, cross cultural understanding and media literacy, and fosters the collaboration skills necessary to tackle our world’s challenges. By bridging the equity gap in global education, SIMA Academy invests in the capacity and the skills of the next generation of changemakers.

Goals & Objectives

SIMA Academy is the only global education streaming platform that curates award-winning, globally sourced, and vetted storytelling in the form of current affairs documentaries that advance Global Citizenship Education (GCED), Human Rights Education (HRE) and the UN’s Global Goals (SDGs).

Results & Impact

We define impact as providing significant advancement to the quality of teaching and learning experiences that inspire students to be active changemakers. To date, SIMA Academy has reached 187,705+ students across 106 countries, while facilitating innovative training and local impact campaigns.
