Summary

The Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate (SWO) Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies (CEDS) Plan was developed as part of a Partnership Planning Grant with the US Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Council, Planning Department and Regional Planning Commission. T

Goals & Objectives

The goal of the project was to implement an innovative approach to CEDS production which would set the Tribe apart as a "gold standard" for other Tribes.

Results & Impact

Most CEDS are producted in a word document and sit on shelves. The SWO is a beautiful visual with amazing photography, graphics design and meaningful content to assure Tribal leaders and member use it as a roadmap for economic growth, job creation, and improved living conditions for its members.
