About This Project

Summary

Sneaker LAB partnered with Pot Plant Club for Earth Day 2024, launching eco-friendly T-shirts. Crafted from reject cotton, dyed with natural ingredients, and printed with eco-ink, each tee comes with a seeded swing tag. Purchases include Apparel Wipes to prolong garment life and reduce waste. Proceeds support the "Bo-Kaap Helpers Peace Garden," a community initiative in Cape Town. Sneaker LAB and Pot Plant Club teams joined to plant seeds, trees, and maintain the garden, promoting sustainability

Goals & Objectives

To educate on the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry and taking care of our planet. To educate on the importance of sustainable fashion and why fast-fashion is harmful. To support and uplift a community vegetable garden that helps the wider community.

Results & Impact

Educated our community on the impact of fast fashion while contributing to a community vegetable garden that provides a food source for people in our neighbourhood.
