About This Project

Summary

Snyk Learn provides free, developer-first security education, empowering developers to write secure code from the start. We focus on practical, relevant content, including AI security, aligned with industry standards like NIST NICE and OWASP Top 10. Our strategy involves university and industry partnerships, student workshops, and continuous content updates. We also give learners access to Snyk for free, giving developers the ability to check their code and secure their applications.

Goals & Objectives

To empower developers to build secure software by providing free, high-quality, and relevant security education, addressing the critical cybersecurity skills gap, and promoting secure AI-powered development.

Results & Impact

Snyk Learn had over 1 million views in 2024, with learners from 170 countries. We partnered with the White House Service for America Initiative and NYU, hosted a global student CTF event with 100 schools joining. In 2025, we added 25+ new lessons covering OWASP Top 10 GenAI/LLM, OSS and API.
