About This Project

Summary

Engineering100.stanford.edu is the microsite for our 100-year celebration. The site shares decade stories (based on book chapters), a rich visual timeline of the school’s history, commemorative videos, event info, space to submit memories, and opportunities to donate. The site gathers archival and current photos, quotes, and information, and a message from our dean, to welcome our vast global community to celebrate with us, no matter where they are.

Goals & Objectives

The centennial microsite was a key tool for our global community, allowing anyone, anywhere to learn about the school’s history, impact, and future. Designed by Stanford Web Services, its dynamic visual elements draw in the user, encouraging them to explore, learn, engage, and share.

Results & Impact

Our centennial microsite is a comprehensive digital hub for the school’s 100-year history that drew 20,000 visitors in its first five months. The design conveys technological and creative leadership, while the content serves as an enduring archive for our global audience and growing community.
