About This Project

Summary

Revels & Revelations, the annual gala for Glenn Close's Bring Change to Mind, celebrates the work of young people to end mental health stigma. Each year, the event presents the Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award to an artist who uses laughter to improve lives, and leverages their platform to have an impact on mental health. In addition to the Award, the event program features comedians, artists and musicians to entertain guests and share their own connection to the issue of mental health.

Goals & Objectives

Raise critical, unrestricted funds to support the BC2M high school clubs across the country; raise the profile of the organization through media and celebrity participation; attract new celebrity ambassadors to the work.

Results & Impact

Raised $1.2M; 1.7B media impressions; 1M reached through social media; Secured support from new celebrities including Ryan Reynolds, Amy Schumer and Reba McEntire; Received continued support from past honorees and participants: Paul Shaffer, Whoopi Goldberg, and the family of Robin Williams.
