About This Project

Summary

The B!G Idea is a world-first, free programme that turns creative thinking into a force for social good. Through an award-winning EdTech platform and mentoring network, 15–19-year-olds co-create solutions to issues like mental health, AI, poverty, equality, and climate change. Our strategy: build Ireland’s most inclusive innovation pipeline - scalable, sustainable, and driven by passion to unlock talent everywhere no matter their background or learning ability.

Goals & Objectives

We empower young people to tackle the challenges they are inheriting, breaking barriers with free access across the borders of Ireland. By linking 1,100+ mentors with students, we build social capital and scale a sustainable, tech-enabled hybrid model setting a new benchmark for inclusive education

Results & Impact

We have enrolled 16,500+ students across 23 counties in 5 years, with 37% from disadvantaged backgrounds. 97% report greater confidence, resilience, and collaboration skills, reshaping their futures. The B!G Idea proves that when innovation meets equity, the impact can transform trajectories..
