About This Project
Summary
This ALL ARTS social campaign transformed archival interviews with Toni Morrison, James Baldwin, and Josephine Hopper into modern, viral digital moments. With millions of views, it proved that powerful, well-crafted conversations are enduring, not ephemeral, and remain vital in today’s media landscape.
Goals & Objectives
The goal was to revive archival public media footage onto the digital landscape to reach ALL ARTS’ audiences. Not only does this content preserve a cultural legacy to salient voices in the arts, but it also bridges younger generations to older ones – it arrived when Public Media needed it most.
Results & Impact
Drawing thousands of followers and millions of views, this organic campaign reasserted the legacy of public media and demonstrated that longform interviews are still vital in an ever-changing media landscape. We used collaborations with fan accounts (@femalepoetsociety 2M+) to increase impact.
