About This Project
Summary
The Class docuseries follows college adviser Mr. Cam and seniors through the pandemic school year. It premiered at the 5-year anniversary of the Covid shutdowns, and the impact campaign gives audiences an opportunity to reflect on that moment, to understand the impact on students, and to advocate for the support young people need to navigate their future generally and in times of crisis. Our CTA is to increase the number of counselors, advisers, & mentors (CAMs) in schools through policy change
Goals & Objectives
Our goal was to raise awareness of the need for more Counselors, Advisers, and Mentors through press, social media, watch parties, screening events, and policy forums from March-May 2025 while also driving people to stream the series on PBS.org through in-kind promotional partnerships with education
Results & Impact
Celebrated students and advisers w/600+ guest premiere Held benefit screening for high school recovering from SoCal wildfires Hosted DC policy forum with policymakers, journalists, & leaders Launched website with free lesson plans, guides, & mental health resources Partnered with 30+ organizations
