About This Project
Summary
We partnered with NC2ML to produce narrative-driven video (one showcasing elementary; the other middle/high) aimed at changing the public mindset around math. The video reframes math as a tool for empowerment and equity and serves as a powerful asset on NC2ML’s website and in presentations to principals and educators. Through compelling storytelling and inclusive messaging, it builds understanding and support for high-quality, research-based math instruction across North Carolina.
Goals & Objectives
To support NC2ML in challenging outdated mindsets about math, showcase the value of equitable, student-centered instruction, and provide an accessible tool for leaders to use in engaging educators, families, and communities across the state.
Results & Impact
Used statewide to engage principals, educators, and the public, the video raises awareness of NC2ML’s mission to change how students experience math. It builds understanding, inspires shared ownership, and promotes confidence in all students as capable math thinkers.
