About This Project

Summary

The Change Has a Female Voice campaign goes against the authoritarian oppression that has silenced Georgian women’s voices for centuries. The strategy focused on unearthing forgotten stories and sharing them through digital archives, media, and PR campaigns to empower today’s women. The campaign positioned female voices as powerful instruments of resistance. The slogan became a battle cry empowering Georgian women. The campaign’s creative strategy didn’t just share a message; it spurred action.

Goals & Objectives

The campaign aimed to raise local awareness of Georgian women’s historical and political roles, inspire civic participation, and shift public attitudes. By amplifying past and present female voices, it encouraged leadership and challenged deep-rooted gender biases.

Results & Impact

Reached 1.4 million unique users, half of our population; Got covered by 80% of Georgian media outlets; For the first time in Georgia a record voter turnout among women, outnumbering men in the capital; Political parties tripled the number of women; 68% of election observers this year were women.
