About This Project

Summary

Launched in Sept 2025, Building Better Futures is a multi-year campaign at USA for UNHCR designed to transform both the future of refugee women and philanthropy in the humanitarian space. The campaign introduced an innovative approach centered on collaboration, transparency, and impact-driven giving. Women donors co-created a shared vision of impact and defined the campaign’s goal of 1,000 university scholarships for refugee women. From that vision, the $15 million fundraising target emerged.

Results & Impact

Building Better Futures has delivered results and demonstrated potential for long-term impact. It has $3.1M in lead gifts, sparked new major gifts, deepened donor trust, and amplified refugee voices—proving that when women unite around purpose, they unlock transformational change for generations.
