Scenic Audio harnesses AI in various forms, such as image recognition, generative AI, and text-to-speech, to articulate the world to visually impaired passengers through real-time audio descriptions. It provides contextual relevance by integrating geolocation, directional, and circumstantial data. Told in a beautiful, human and storied way, it makes the scenic route accessible to everyone.
Goals & Objectives
Our goal was not just to create a functional tool, but to revolutionize environmental interaction and independence, enhancing the car journey for those previously left out. This initiative is a testament to Honda's unwavering commitment to innovation and inclusion.
Results & Impact
The project has progressed rapidly from concept to beta testing, receiving international publicity and overwhelmingly positive early feedback from the blind community, with one tester stating “It makes you feel like you are a star in your own show.”
