About This Project
Summary
Dockers® and Waves For Water (W4W) joined forces through a three-year partnership addressing the global water crisis from both ends: Dockers reduced its water footprint through Water<Less® innovation while supporting W4W’s frontline programs. Together, they implemented over 13,000 filters and water systems in 11 countries, directly impacting 281,000+ people. The strategy connected sustainability, humanitarian action, and authentic storytelling to inspire collective action.
Goals & Objectives
To address global water scarcity by combining Dockers’ innovation with W4W’s clean water access programs—delivering practical water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions to underserved communities, improving health, education, and livelihoods while engaging employees and consumers in impact.
Results & Impact
Over three years, the partnership implemented 13,027 filters and multiple rain catchments across 11 countries, giving clean water access to 281,495 people. Monitoring showed up to 70% reduction in waterborne disease, increased school/work attendance, and decreased single-use plastic reliance.
