About This Project

Summary

From headlines to social posts, it’s easy to think our nation is coming apart at the seams. But it's not the full story. Across the country, Americans are bringing neighbors together, showing up for others where they live to tackle shared issues, connect, and foster trust. We built the Trust Map to shows the strength of trusting behaviors, trusting intentions and trusting spaces in every neighborhood in the US, so people can build off those strengths to foster connection and trust.

Goals & Objectives

Using data from the US census, surveys, and social media, the Map allows anyone in the US to find their neighborhood and identify the assets they can leverage to build trust in their communities and help heal our torn nation. We mixed stories, data, and resources to then inspire them to take action

Results & Impact

Over 75,000 unique visits, with an average time on page of 5 minutes. Over 50% of all visits finish the experience and 8% take a meaningful action, either putting themselves on the Trust Map or volunteering. Orgs all over the US are using the Map to identify resources and connect with local weavers.
