About This Project
Summary
WhiteFlag is a free, anonymous peer-support app connecting people in real time to others who have lived through the same struggles. Our strategy combines technology with humanity—building a stigma-free, 24/7 community that reaches people before crisis. Through partnerships, outreach, and user-led support, we normalize mental health conversations and make help immediate, personal, and accessible.
Goals & Objectives
Our goal was to break isolation by creating a safe, stigma-free platform where anyone can instantly connect with someone who understands. We set out to grow a supportive peer network, normalize honest mental health conversations, and make help accessible 24/7.
Results & Impact
WhiteFlag has connected thousands across the U.S. and Canada, preventing suicides and reducing isolation. Featured on GMA and ABC News Live, and with 40+ partnerships, we’ve proven that anonymous peer support can change mental health culture and save lives.
