NEW YORK (October 15, 2024) – The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) announces the Finalists for the 4th Annual Anthem Awards, the largest and most comprehensive social impact award, presented by the Webby Awards. Launched in 2021, the Anthem Awards celebrate the purpose and mission-driven work of the individuals, companies, and organizations making a difference worldwide. Notable Finalists include Google; Everytown for Gun Safety; Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez; the Ad Council; DEPT; The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; ESPN; World Central Kitchen; Planned Parenthood Federation of America; On Purpose with Jay Shetty; AARP; Amazon Music; UNICEF USA; Jelly Roll, Foo Fighters and others with Power to the Patients; Nike Inc.; CNN Worldwide; GLAAD; Samsung Electronics America; Clinton Global Initiative; LinkedIn; PepsiCo; The Daily Show hosted by Jon Stewart; United Nations; the NAACP; and Gov. Tim Walz, Gov. Wes Moore, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and Gov. Tony Evers with the Democratic Governors Association.
Supporters can celebrate this year’s Finalists online until Thursday, October 31st. The for-profit and nonprofit entries in each category with the greatest amount of support will win Anthem Community Voice Awards. From new AI innovations to continued calls to protect children from online dangers, Responsible Technology categories saw a 50% increase in submissions this year. The Anthem Awards are proud to recognize the innovative organizations working in this space including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Deutsch LA & Petsmart Charities, GivingTuesday, Human Rights Watch, T-Mobile, the Center for Democracy & Technology, EY, Headspace, and many others.
This year’s Anthem Award Finalists were selected from over 2300 submissions from 34 countries by the (IADAS). Anthem Award judges are intellectually diverse leaders from across the impact industry with expertise that spans across the Anthem cause areas including: Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; Education, Art, & Culture; Health; Human & Civil Rights; Humanitarian Action & Services; Responsible Technology; and Sustainability, Environment, & Climate.
