About This Project
Summary
Menopause costs Canada $3.5 billion every year as 1-in-10 women leave the workforce due to debilitating symptoms. Despite affecting 80% of Canadian women over 40, only 25% receive treatment. Sinai Health Foundation’s campaign aimed to address this urgent, yet taboo, gap and raise funds for mature women’s health. Launched on World Menopause Day, we ignited a national conversation through Canadian celebrities, physician voices, and a limited-edition merchandise collaboration with Peace Collective.
Goals & Objectives
Sinai addressed this urgent crisis with a $50 million fundraising goal for its Centre for Mature Women's Health. The challenge: shattering decades of stigma through a bold campaign to boost brand awareness, accelerate fundraising, and improve Sinai Health's position as a leader in women's health.
Results & Impact
The campaign was a massive success generating 40 million earned impressions, 15 thousand organic views on social media and a 90% positive comment sentiment on influencer posts. Sinai also received a significant five-figure donation directly from an op-ed secured in a national outlet.
